Anne Dorre's ambitious decision to publisher her father E.J. McCully's war journals kicked off what is one of Epigraph's most complex designs to date. Anne had to transcribe the handwritten or typed journal pages, which Epigraph turned into the book, which includes all of E.J. McCully's journal entries, as well as photos, scanned documents, maps, relationship charts, and medals. Special attention was given to make sure journal entries remained separate and distinct, and that they didn't flow awkwardly on the pages, as well as accommodating the multi-medium nature of McCully's writing.
